PADI Open Water Diver

In addition to offering PADI Freediving and PADI Mermaid courses, we also offer course from the PADI SCUBA program track.
The Open Water Scuba Course is the first course in the SCUBA track. This course takes 2-3 days and consists of three components:
PADI Open Water Diver eLearning: This online learning is done at your own pace prior to your in-water sessions. It dives into SCUBA theory and orients you to the skills you’ll learn with your instructor.
Confined Water Sessions: Over the course of two, 4-hr pool sessions , you will complete 5 confined water dives where you will learn the skills required to receive certification. You set the pace as you become comfortable with skills like regulator recovery, mask clearing, equipment assembly and buoyancy control.
Open Water Sessions: During two 4-hr open water sessions you will apply all that you learned in the pool to an open water environment! You’ll get the opportunity to see local Florida Keys wildlife and dive under the supervision of your instructor.
