PADI Freediver
Dive into the world of breath hold diving and learn new ways to explore the underwater world!
During this two day course, you’ll get aquatinted with apnea diving and learn how to be a safe buddy.
This course consists of three sections:
PADI Freediver eLearning: This online classroom portion is done at your own pace prior to the in-person skills sessions with Deep Blue Freediving
Confined Water Session (Pool): This half-day pool session will introduce you to static and dynamic apnea disciplines, and how to perform rescues
Static Goal: 1min 30sec
Dynamic Goal: 25meters
Open Water Session: During this half-day line diving session you will work on free immersion and constant weight apnea techniques and rescues. You will begin to familiarize yourself with equalization techniques, and open water diving procedures.
Constant Weight Goal: 10meters/30feet
Prerequisites:
Minimum age: 12yo
200yd Swim Test (performed during course)
Required Equipment:
Mask
Fins
Snorkel
Rubberized Weightbelt
Timing Device
Freediving Wrist Lanyard
Wetsuit (1.5-3mm thickness)

Boat Fee
One boat trip is including in the course. Any additional trips requested or required will be $250.

Cancellation Policy:
For courses that involve eLearning, 50% of the course cost is non-refundable upon redemption of the eLearning code. The full course cost becomes non-refundable 48hrs prior to booked course date.
For all other bookings, payment becomes non-refundable 48hrs prior to event or activity date.
